Plain Box 2.1 Change log
After last week received many comment about pbv2 beta from you guy,
I’ve made some revise:
1 – Header – now support TTFtitle plugin, you can change your header to graphic text without using Photoshop.
2 – Post’s Thumb – theme still work with or without install Get Custom Field Values plugin
3 - Show comment count
4 – 2 screencast updated ( screencast have no voice as I am shy speaking in English)
How to add thumbnails to the Home Page
- Make sure the Get Custom Field Values is activated. This plugin is included in the theme download in the folder “plugins”.
- Go to Custom Fields under where you edit the post in your WP admin.
- Under Add a new custom field type thumb in the Key field.
- Enter the address for the image ( size: 280 x 140px ) in the Value field. For example:(e.g. http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-content/themes/overstand/http://dearj.com/pbox/readme/images/example.gif)
- Click the button “Add Custom Field”
The header grapghic
Method 1 – Header Image
The header grapghic was developed for “PlainBox”. If you run your own blog, please change this graphic to your own one. You can find the PSD file in the "PSD" folder and has a size of 950 × 220 pixels.

Oh, I am very busy recently, I joined an English course last month, and I have to do many homework and test…. And talk with my teacher useing English.
As I have to spend more time in learning English, so the rate of progress of “Plain Box” is very slow….,actually, the theme is almost finished, the hardest part is to write the instruction of how to using the theme…..I hope I can finish it before Christmas……
TODO LIST :
1 – help my friend make a blog.
2 – w3sh blog design.
3 – Plain Box Theme
4 – Js Theme Remake.
5 – Learning English.
6 – other freelance.
Last Saturday, I spend all day fighting with my blog’s database.
I find that maybe the problem is I installed too many plug-in in my blog,
So the db created many worthless tables. I try to delete them. And I give-up,
Because some of them I don’t know is it useful or not. Finally I delete all of them, just keep two tables: “the post” and “the comment”. And install wordpress again….
In the end, all trouble was fixed, yeah, thanks god. TToTT, I can continuous design the theme again. >u<
So, in the future, I will not install too many plug-in.

Plain Box progress +0%
I was tired out to death, many freelance job have to do. So I did nothing on the new theme Yester night…..
Because of my blog’s database have many problems, make me feel so downhearted. I can’t pass the “edit post” button at the admin page and the rss feed not work……and many many problems….I wanna move the DB to the new hosting but I don’t know how to do….>n< Unhappy (= 3 =)
